Roles and Responsibilities

1. Utilities Management

• Operate and maintain systems for Purified Water, Air, and Gas Utilities to ensure consistent supply and compliance with quality standards.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, including Energy Monitoring Systems (EMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Monitor boilers, chillers, and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
• Perform filter cleaning and other utility-related activities to maintain optimal performance.

2. Process Manufacturing Support

• Manage and optimize process manufacturing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.

3. HVAC Operation and Validation

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to Qualification and Validation protocols.
• Perform regular inspections of HVAC systems, including chiller operations and EMS/BMS monitoring.

4. Water Systems Management

• Oversee the design, operation, and maintenance of water systems, including purification systems and water quality monitoring.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of water treatment systems.

5. Plant Maintenance Activities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Implement maintenance schedules for boilers, chillers, and related systems.

6. Environmental Compliance

• Ensure all utility and maintenance operations comply with environmental standards and regulations.
• Monitor and report performance metrics related to energy efficiency and waste management systems.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Expertise in utilities management, including purified water systems, air systems, and HVAC operations.
• Proficiency in EMS/BMS operation, chiller operation, and ETP management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of qualification and validation processes for HVAC and other utilities.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or utilities within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food processing industries.
• Certification in HVAC systems, energy management, or related fields is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with boiler and chiller operations.
