Job Description
- Graduate with 6+ years of experience in delivering alt-text in US & UK English.
- Should have a passion to learn, coach, mentor the team to ensure the expected productivity, quality and customer's SLA
- Should have strong knowledge in understanding and interpreting customer instructions/specifications.
- Should have worked in samples, time-estimation and responses to RFP/RFQ/RFI
- Excellent communication (English usage - written & oral) and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Hands on in usage of Screen readers like JAWS, NVDA & VoiceOver
- Need to ensure that errors are not repeated based on internal/external feedbacks.
- Should train and clarify queries to internal team and associates.
- Should able to prepare and maintain project instruction, process description documents, checklist for internal and vendors.
- Should able to prepare RCAs and implement corrective actions based on internal/external feedbacks.
- Should have worked and coordinated with freelancers and vendors for alt-text writing and to meet the delivery expectations.
- Should have handled various disciplines like mathematics, music, chemistry, STME, Sociology, management, student & teacher's manual, etc.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to alt-text.
- Knowledge in WCAG 2.X and other accessibility standards
- Knowledge in testing AI based alt-texts and recommend relevant solutions to improve its accuracy
- Having Trusted Tester/CPACC certification would be advantageous
- Working knowledge in captioning, transcription and audio descriptions for audio/video files.
- Knowledge in copyediting the content, writing blogs, SEO content, etc.
