Cloud Engineer/Architect/Administrator/DevOps

We are seeking skilled professionals for various roles for our global clients, including Cloud Architect, Cloud Administrator, Cloud Engineer, and DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions across major platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Oracle.

This is remote & freelance job and should be flexible to work on different timezones.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture and Design: Architect, design, and implement robust cloud solutions utilizing services from AWS, GCP, Azure, and Oracle to meet business needs.
• Cloud Management: Troubleshoot, build, configure, and maintain cloud technologies and platforms across all major cloud providers to ensure optimal performance.
• Infrastructure Framework: Create and maintain a cloud infrastructure framework that aligns with business and operational standards while providing technical support.
• Resource Management: Deploy, migrate, upgrade, and monitor cloud resources to ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
• Solution Development: Design and implement solutions for web applications, IoT, edge computing, ERP systems (including SAP), data science projects, and machine learning applications.
• Security Compliance: Define and establish security protocols and infrastructure compliance requirements to safeguard cloud environments.
• Customer Support: Address customer inquiries by applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to deliver tailored solutions effectively.
• Container Orchestration: Demonstrate strong experience with Kubernetes and other container orchestration tools while leveraging data analytics and machine learning software stacks.
• Network Solutions: Define network architectures for hybrid cloud deployments; proficiently design solutions incorporating firewalls, load balancers, WAFs, proxies, SDN, DNS, and DDoS protection.
• CI/CD Tools Proficiency: Exhibit solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible to automate deployment processes.
• Microservices Architecture: Strong experience in designing and deploying microservices along with performance testing and monitoring of web application servers and databases.
• Agile Methodologies: Work effectively within Agile and DevOps/CloudOps development methodologies to enhance project delivery.
• Reliability Improvement: Enhance the reliability, availability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud products by developing fault-tolerant tools for robust infrastructure.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with cloud technology trends and best practices to inform solution design.
• Automation of Processes: Automate development and release processes to streamline workflows.
• CI/CD Pipeline Design: Design and implement CI/CD pipeline components for automated compilation, assembly, and testing of both containerized and non-containerized applications.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of experience supporting GCP/AWS/Azure/Oracle environments and native services.
• 4+ years working within Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS) or Windows environments.
• 3+ years of experience in Network Integration using cloud-native services.
• 2+ years working in Kubernetes or within a DevOps/CI/CD environment.
• 2+ years of scripting experience (preferred languages include Python, Java, or BASH).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, ARM templates, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Git, Artifactory, or ArgoCD.

Soft Skills

• Team player with a strong emphasis on collaboration and open communication; willingness to engage in pair programming when necessary.
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong technical documentation capabilities.
• Effective presentation skills with the ability to respond to questions clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field; relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible for deploying cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments including identity management and access controls.
