Technical Business Developer

• Identifying and evaluating suitable job postings on Upwork
  Communicating with clients to gather project requirements and provide project updates

• Negotiating contract terms and conditions on behalf of the company
• Monitoring and analyzing competitor activity on Upwork to ensure the company remains competitive
• Collaborating with the team to ensure that proposals are consistent with the company’s branding and messaging
• Generate new business leads from platforms like Upwork, Freelancer
• com, Fiverr, Guru, Toptal and similar marketplace platforms
• Understand the technology requirements of potential clients and propose appropriate solutions via Zoom/Google Meet Video calls
• Effectively communicate our software development capabilities and deep technical understanding during pre-sale discussions
• Collaborate with the technical team to address complex technical challenges and provide tailored solutions to clients
• Work with the technical team to ensure clients’ requirements are accurately translated into robust solutions
• Manage client relationships from initial contact to solution delivery
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ offerings to identify potential areas for business growth
• Track and report on business development activities, sales targets, and key performance indicators

Requirements for a Technical Business Developer

• Previous experience in software development or a strong technical background is essential
• Experience in negotiating contracts and terms with clients to ensure favorable outcomes for the company
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and error-free proposals and communications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members
