The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of software engineers, coordinating development projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of software products. They play a critical role in team management, project planning, and technical guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

Essential Functions:

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and productivity.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and business leaders, to define project goals, scope, and priorities.
Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of software projects.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Oversee code reviews, quality assurance processes, and best practices adherence.
Address and resolve project-related issues, risks, and escalations.
Provide regular project status updates to upper management and stakeholders.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed decisions about technology adoption within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required
A minimum of 8 to 10 years of object-oriented design/development required, Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment. Should have led a team of developers/ Sr Developer and Leads (8 to 10) working on (XXXXXXXXXX) technologies
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
Excellent communication and project management abilities
