Lead DevOps Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms aligned with our business needs and compliance requirements.
• Leverage Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management across multiple environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Utilize knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) for efficient data storage, retrieval, and orchestration on cloud platforms.
• Configure and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes for high availability and scalability.
• Securely store and manage container images and artifacts using Amazon ECR or equivalent container registry.
• Implement and maintain robust authentication and authorization systems using LDAP or similar directories.
• Design and manage secure and efficient network architecture, including firewalls, load balancers, and content delivery networks (CDNs) like Cloudflare.
• Continuously monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues proactively, and implement appropriate logging and alerting mechanisms.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the DevOps space and propose innovative solutions to improve agility and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.
• Document processes, best practices, and technical solutions for the benefit of the team.
