Emerge Capital - Research Analyst (1-3 yrs)

We are a CAT3 AIF focused on listed Indian equities, pre-IPO and private equity investments. Our LPs include some of the large Delhi-based family offices (SRF, Havells, DLF, Jubilant, Dalmias), private equity professionals, and senior management at large organizations.

We seek a passionate individual with a strong analytical mindset and affinity towards research and operations.

Location - Role is based out of Delhi (candidates outside NCR will not be considered)

Responsibilities :

1) Thorough research on industries and underlying companies using all available and provided sources

2) Prepare and update financial models

3) Monitor and interpret market developments and financial news

4) Day to day tasks related to operations, coordination of activities, documentation and communication with various stakeholders

5) Provide ad-hoc support to the team

Candidate Profile :

1) Strong verbal and written communication skills

2) At least one year of relevant experience in a consulting (including knowledge centers and KPOs), FDD, transaction advisory role, etc.

3) Strong Financial modeling, Excel, and presentation skills

4) Proficiency in using multiple data sources to collate and analyze fundamental information in a concise, coherent way

Qualifications: Bachelors / CA / CFA / Engineers
