Senior Engineer - Production Planning Control

Role Description:

A Production Planner ensures the production process goes smoothly by making sure all of the appropriate parts are in place and ready to go.

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating with production team
• Review and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance
• Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
• Monitoring costs to ensure the production process stays within budget
• Estimate project needs of manpower٫ equipment and raw materials
• Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
• Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Set goals٫ tasks and priorities for workers and other staff
• Set shifts according to production needs
• Supervise production activities to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Detect and resolve issues when they arise
• Collect output information٫ including number of finished products٫ percentage of defectives and so on
• Reporting on the production status and any production issues to the management
• Create status and performance reports and present them to the management
• Manage the project paperwork
• Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes
• Work together with quality control٫ warehouse and other teams

Requirements are:

• 5+ years' experience of working on a Production Planner
• Graduate or diploma in engineering
• Significant experience with production planning and quality control activities
• Significant experience in Room Air Conditioner manufacturing
• Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office and ERP systems
• Strong math and statistics skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication abilities
