Project Manager HVAC

Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

• To plan, manage and control all Mechanical project design and drawings development, including project management, quality control and timeline management.
• To ensure resources are managed in order to meet project needs, whilst meeting the needs of the business.
• To lead various teams in delivering projects to the clients in US and ensure all team members are appropriately represented.
• To demonstrate in-depth know-how during client interaction (verbal and written) to ensure smooth flow of technical and project information.
• Should have good understanding of Mechanical Design Development.
• Should be proficient in MEP Services of large and medium scale building projects.
• Should have excellent level knowledge in ASHRAE, SMACNA and LOD Standards.
• Should have worked on AutoCAD MEP and REVIT MEP in Design, 3D Modeling, Detailing of Drawing, and Clash Detection etc.
• Able to perform HVAC design using Trane Trace, HAP, Wrightsoft Manual J, D and S or E20, Load calculation, Equipment selection.
• Should have Managerial skills to lead the Mechanical and Plumbing design development team.
• Should have done Co-ordination with Architects & other Consultants.

Desired Profile:

• 7 to 10 years in managing Mechanical projects, with strong mechanical bias and a very comfortable approach with all aspects of building services. Team management skills and client handling experience.
• Passion and desire to learn and innovate.
• Willingness and motivation to work in a team environment.
• Candidates with long-term vision and dedication towards our profession.
• The individual must have sufficient interest and motivation to upgrade their technical expertise as required on an ongoing basis.
• Self-Motivated, organized and initiative taking individual.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are very necessary, as this position requires direct communication with the clients across the globe.

Job Description:

• Good organization skills coupled with the ability to prioritize and organize large, complex workloads.
• Good people management skills, written / verbal communication skills (English) and the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
• Multitasking with the ability and experience in managing multiple tasks and projects. Flexible and open to multiple shifts. Familiarity with and experience of working in all disciplines of Mechanical & Fire Protection.
• Ability to adapt international construction technology and quality standards.
• To work with enthusiasm, focus to deliver error-free, and quality controlled deliverables.

Qualification:

• Excellent Academic Background
• Good Written and verbal communication skills
• BE or BTech from recognized schools will be preferred.

Years of Experience: 7 + yrs.

Key Skill: Revit Modeling, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HVAC design using, Trane Trace, HAP or E20, Load calculation, Equipment selection, Schematics, US Codes & standards, BIM, Shop Drawings, Detailing, Construction
