SAP HANA , Cloud Transformation Lead

ElixiCloud is seeking a passionate technologist who understands the impact of Cloud on SAP infrastructure, can untangle the complexity of delivering a Cloud based platform for SAP services that focuses on standing up test, development and production environments in secure and scalable manner with experience of working in a DevOps or environment management role to support SAP services.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will focus on providing expert advice and the management and delivery of client engagements. You will have responsibilities for:

• Enable the Digital Transformation initiatives of enterprises involving their SAP strategies.
• Articulate the key considerations, challenges and benefits of deploying SAP within the cloud.
• Establish the business case and transition plans for deploying cloud-based SAP environments.
• Design, size and architect cloud-based SAP environments.
• Support the establishment and ongoing management of SAP Test, Development and Production environments within the cloud.
• End-to-end integration of on premise and cloud solutions with SAP as part of a hybrid cloud environment.
• Support the migration of our client’s SAP environment to the cloud.
• Ability to hire, mentor and support other team members as necessary.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• 10+ years’ experience delivering or migrating on-premise and/or cloud-based SAP Business Suite and/or SAP S/4HANA infrastructure solutions. Also designing, sizing and architecting SAP Business Suite and/or SAP S/4HANA infrastructure solutions.
• In depth understanding of SAP solution offerings and partner ecosystem
• Have worked on end to end lifecycle of SAP deployments in manufacturing, retail, telecom, healthcare or financial domains
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
  • SAP BASIS; AWS, GCP, Azure or private cloud providers
  • SAP S/4 and integration with broader SAP portfolio (e.g. Fiori, Ariba, Success Factors, Hybris)
  • SAP and cloud migration tools
  • SAP cloud services – HEC (HANA) and SCP
  • Integration of cloud hosted services
  • Data replication, backup and recovery in the cloud
  • Administration of Linux and Windows based Operating Systems
  • Load balancing
  • Data-center networking; or Security

GOOD TO HAVE

• Certification in SAP. Additionally, also in AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience in setting up High Availability (HA) for SAP Applications on any database and SAP HANA.
• Experience in configuring Disaster Recovery (DR) solution for SAP Applications on on-premises or Cloud environments.
