SDET- Java

What Youll Do:

As an SDET at Elixr Labs, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for our multi-tiered applications. Your technical expertise in Java and automation testing tools will help drive quality and efficiency in our testing processes.

• Leverage strong Java programming knowledge to design and develop robust automated testing solutions.
• Enhance and maintain tools, automation frameworks, and test engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Application Development, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless planning and execution.
• Extend the capabilities of automation frameworks to support diverse testing environments, including Web -UI, API, and Mobile platforms.
• Develop and execute automated component tests to validate component behaviors.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Test Automation Engineers within the Enterprise Test Engineering team.
• Debug and optimize applications and automated test scripts to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Continuously improve testing strategies to align with business needs and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years in Java development in automation framework.
• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in Mobile Automation (iOS and Android) using Appium- Java
• Hands-on experience in developing different types of frameworks such as BDD, Data driven, Keyword driven, etc.
• Good Experience in Optimizing and Fine tuning the framework for better performance.
• Good Experience in Core Java Concepts

Functional Skills (Role Specific):

• Proven hands-on experience in developing or implementing Test Automation Frameworks in enterprise-grade environments.
• Expertise in Java programming with experience in tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit, and Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in automation testing across multiple platforms, including Web, Android, iOS, and backend API (REST API).
• Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and layered architecture, with experience applying these concepts in test environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD technologies like Git, Maven, and automated build systems.
• Experience in API testing and service-level automation, including debugging and optimization.
