Your role involves addressing a range of personal, emotional, or psychological issues, and overseeing counseling programs or teams.Key Responsibilities:Counseling Services:Provide individual or group counseling sessions to clients to address personal, emotional, or psychological challenges.Develop therapeutic relationships and assist clients in managing their concerns.Assessment and Evaluation:Conduct assessments to determine the needs and goals of clients.Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling interventions.Counseling Programs:Develop and oversee counseling programs, including group therapy sessions, workshops, or educational sessions.Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate and facilitate program activities.Crisis Intervention:Offer crisis intervention services when needed, including providing immediate support to clients in crisis situations.Client Support:Offer emotional support, resources, and referrals to clients to help them access additional services or resources when necessary.Record Keeping:Maintain confidential client records and documentation of counseling sessions.Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding client privacy.Supervision and Training:Provide supervision and mentoring to junior counselors or counseling interns.Offer training and guidance to support professional development. Collaboration:Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide holistic care to clients.Professional Development:Stay updated on the latest counseling techniques, theories, and best practices.Pursue ongoing professional development and training.Community Outreach:Engage in outreach and awareness activities to promote the counseling services offered.Build relationships with local organizations and agencies for referrals and partnerships.(2 Years of relevant work experience preferred)
