The Senior Hardware Design Engineer will play a key role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge DSP processor targetted for Layer 1 (Basedband) processing. As a member of our engineering team, you will leverage your expertise in electronics and computer engineering to drive the successful tape-out of complex SoC designs. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Define micro-architecture, write RTL for multiple logic blocks of a DSP core.
Run various frontend tools to check for linting, clock domain crossing, synthesis, etc.
Work with physical design team on design constrain and timing closure.
Work with power team on power optimization.
Work with verification team to collaborate on test plan, coverage plan, and coverage closure.
Requirements:
PhD, Masters, or Bachelors degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
5+ years of industry experience in hardware design, with a focus on DSP implementation.
Proven track record of being part of multiple tape-outs for complex SoC designs.
Expertise in frontend tools flow, including synthesis, constraint validation, and power analysis.
Hands-on experience with RTL coding and synthesis for DSP hardware implementation.
Strong understanding of digital processor architectures , Digital Communication concepts and DSP algorithms.
Background in FFT, LDPC, and digital filter design etc is highly desirable.
Familiarity with baseband hardware design for WLAN, LTE, Bluetooth, Cable Modem, or 5G technologies is a plus.
