Full Stack Developer - Java/React.js - Trading Systems (4-7 yrs)

Experience :

- Candidate with 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer with Java, React JS.

- Building scalable software in a micro service architecture as well as rich front end trading applications

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Bachelor's degree in computer science

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of US market structure; additional knowledge of Canadian and European market structure beneficial

- Strong communication skills

Job Duties :

- Build and maintain front-end for trading

- Be part of an agile team that delivers in-house applications for clients and internal users to trade and manage trades electronically

- Work within a product team to implement changes quickly and help deliver attractive, usable screens that bring more clients on board.

- Take ownership of delivery of user screens to meet team sprint goals; be able to swarm on stories so that work-in-progress is kept to a minimum.

- Work closely with an end-to-end product team to meet user story acceptance criteria.

- Work within a team culture that is driven by quality (user reviews with sales, external clients, and ability to take feedback into improvements for upcoming sprints)

- Assist the team in meeting their requirements to deliver working software at the end of every 2-week sprint

Skills Required :

- HTML5, React JS, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

- Java, Spring Boot, Web Services

- CI/CD, Detail-Oriented, GitHub, Group Problem Solving, Maven, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Experience on web-based technologies: NodeJS, Docker/Kubernetes, web sockets, web workers/worker threads, advanced grid components, Java/Spring Boot, RxJS, Devops

- Knowledge of version control / source code management tools such as GitHub
