Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation technologies and a proven track record in sales. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial automation sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Understand client requirements and propose tailored automation solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs.
Prepare detailed quotations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
Provide post-sales customer account handling and ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Technical Skills:
Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role within the industrial automation industry.
Strong technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, SERVO, VFD, and other automation technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM software.
Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 concepts.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Previous experience in a technical support or field service role.
