We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Quality Control Manager to lead and enhance our QC operations to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards. The supervisor will manage a team of operators, ensure compliance with safety regulations, monitor equipment functionality, and resolve any production issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise Production Activities:
• Oversee the production process, ensuring all operations are running smoothly.
• Coordinate and schedule production shifts to meet production targets.
• Monitor production rates and adjust processes or manpower as necessary.
• Ensure that the production output meets quality, cost, and efficiency standards.

2. Team Leadership:

• Manage and supervise a team of operators, technicians, and laborers.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor employee performance, and provide guidance when needed.
• Conduct training and ensure team members are up-to-date with best practices and safety procedures.

3. Quality Control:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications during the manufacturing process.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line to identify defects or inefficiencies.
• Implement corrective actions when quality issues arise and maintain records for compliance.

4. Inventory and Materials Management:

• Monitor and manage the availability of materials required for production.
• Ensure proper usage of materials and minimize waste.
• Report any material shortages or discrepancies to the Procurement/Store departments.

5. Production Planning and Reporting:

• Coordinate with the Production Manager to align on daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Monitor production progress and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, downtime, and output.
• Maintain and submit production reports to management, including issues encountered and corrective actions taken.

6. Collaboration with Other Departments

• Work closely with the Maintenance and Quality Assurance departments to ensure machines are maintained, and product quality is consistent.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as HR, Logistics, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical) or a related field.
