Key skills for the job
Role & responsibilities
1. Identify potential customers and identify leads for Products, Services (directly) or Spares (indirectly)
2. Implement Sales / Key Accounts Plan
3. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
4. Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages
5. Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
6. Identify customer needs and record the same for necessary course of action
7. Create sales or service contracts for Products or services
8. Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
09. Lead and secure RFQ and RFP for bidding processes
10. Coordinate with associated departments or sections for appropriation of data and speedy submission of proposals
11. Handle order inquiries including post-order fulfillment transactions
12. Constantly interact with Key Accounts for early identification of opportunities and customer needs.
Preferred candidate profile
- 3 to 5 Yrs. of experience of Industrial Product Sales.
- Candidates working with Products like Gearbox, Valves, Pumps, Couplings, Motors will be
given first preference.
