Position: Senior Recruiter

Location: Kolhapur

Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in the electrical and electro-mechanical manufacturing industry. As a Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, focusing on sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various positions within the manufacturing, electrical, and electro-mechanical domains. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our manufacturing operations are staffed with skilled professionals to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement recruitment strategies for hiring talent in electrical and electro-mechanical engineering, production, and support roles. Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and team dynamics. Maintain a thorough understanding of the manufacturing industry to source candidates with the right technical skills and experience.


Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Use multiple sourcing channels (job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, referrals, etc.) to attract qualified candidates. Review resumes and conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Manage candidate pipelines for both current and future roles, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates.


Interviewing & Selection: Coordinate and conduct in-depth interviews (phone, video, in-person) to evaluate candidate suitability. Organize technical assessments and collaborate with technical teams to assess candidates' expertise in electrical and electro-mechanical domains. Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on interview feedback and candidate evaluations.



Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are successfully integrated into the company culture and have the tools they need for success.

Provide new hires with relevant training materials and orientation about company policies, safety standards, and job expectations.

Employer Branding: Promote the company as an employer of choice by participating in job fairs, industry events, and creating compelling job descriptions and recruitment materials. Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring all candidates have a professional and respectful interaction with the company.


Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiring outcomes. Provide regular reports to HR leadership on recruitment metrics, trends, and challenges, and recommend strategies for improvement.


Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and department managers to ensure alignment on hiring priorities and workforce planning. Stay updated with industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective recruitment.



Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, any graduate or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a senior recruitment role, ideally within the manufacturing, electrical, or electro-mechanical industry.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates in technical and engineering roles.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, including candidate sourcing, interviewing techniques, and job market trends.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing industry-specific roles and technical expertise in electrical and electro-mechanical fields.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
