About Role :

We are seeking a passionate and talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

You will play a pivotal role in building the core backend of our healthcare platform.

Responsibilities :

- Someone who can take full ownership of the product

- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception to deployment to the impact of the product.

- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code with unit/ integration tests.

- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements :

- Strong proficiency in Python/GoLang backend programming language and in frameworks

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, coding design & practices and database design

- Expertise in implementing quality efficient and optimized micro services (using tools and technologies for messaging (queues, pubsub), RPC (Go lang), Django (python) with rest framework, containerization, firebase etc.

- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (for exp: 0-1 years), ability to write complex queries and optimize them (for exp: 2+ years)

- Passion for building high-quality software.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team with app developers and trying to understand the constraints on the app to provide better solutions

- A strong sense of ownership and a desire to see projects through to completion and follow up on their impact

- The biggest requirement, is an open mind and a keenness to learn more everyday.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data analysis/ deployment tools is a plus.

- Experience with healthcare-related projects.
