We are looking for Quality Analyst with 3-6 years of experience to be based at our Mangalore office in India, and to be part of our growth story

Candidates need to be proficient in the below mentioned Tasks and domains:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to gather project requirements and define test plans

Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to identify software defects and ensure adherence to functional and non-functional requirements

Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, usability, performance, and security

Identify, analyze, and report software defects, including tracking defects to resolution and ensuring their proper closure

Monitor and measure test coverage to ensure thorough testing of software components and systems

Conduct regression testing to verify the impact of software changes on existing functionality

Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports

Collaborate with development teams to facilitate effective and timely defect resolution

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, incorporating best practices and industry standards

Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and techniques related to quality assurance and testing

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

3-6 years of experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role in the IT industry

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including agile and waterfall

Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking

Experience with manual testing frameworks

Solid knowledge of software testing techniques, best practices, and industry standards

Familiarity with functional and non-functional testing, including usability, performance, and security testing

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

Professional certifications related to software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE

Experience with test management tools, such as JIRA, TestRail, or Quality Center

Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber

Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab

Exposure to performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner
