Education Counsellor

Uncodemy, a leading training institute in IT education, is looking for a passionate and dynamic Educational Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students in selecting IT courses, addressing their career aspirations, and assisting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Counselling: Engage with prospective students to understand their educational and career goals, provide information about IT courses offered, and suggest suitable programs.
• Admission Guidance: Assist students through the admission process, including application forms, fee payment, and onboarding.
• Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with leads and inquiries via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to convert them into admissions.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate and updated records of student interactions, queries, and admissions using databases.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed about the latest trends in IT education and career opportunities to guide students effectively.
• Achieve Targets: Meet monthly and quarterly enrolment and revenue targets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and training teams to ensure alignment between student expectations and course offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Knowledge of IT Courses: Basic understanding of IT courses like Full Stack Development, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Python, etc. (training will be provided).
• Sales Acumen: Ability to convert inquiries into enrolments and meet targets.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks efficiently.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in educational counselling or a similar role.
• Education: Bachelors degree in any field (preferably in IT, Education, or Management).
