Job Description
T his role focuses on site safety of all stakeholders at site, and promoting a culture of safety by fostering awareness, communication, and participation in safety initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of workers, equipment, and the environment in various industries. Safety Engineer will perform the following duties
- Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Performing regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Developing and delivering safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine the root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
- Conducting safety audits to assess compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement.
