We are seeking an Academic Counsellor to join our team at EDGO International
As an Academic Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one career guidance to assist with career development for students who are planning to study abroad
Helping students to prepare for applications in foreign university. This is a Full-Time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. Qualifications And Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students
A client-focused service mindset, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of students
Sales skills, with the ability to effectively promote study abroad opportunities
Empathy and understanding towards the challenges and concerns of students
Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Proficiency in using technology and online platforms for student counselling and support
Roles And Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one counselling to students to help them choose the right university and course based on their interests and goals
Assist students in the university application process, including documentation and financial aid
Guide students in understanding the admission requirements and eligibility criteria for various universities
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the education sector
Collaborate with the marketing team to create informative and engaging content for students
Track and report on student progress and success rates
Provide ongoing support and assistance to students throughout their study abroad journey
