QA Engineer

OVERVIEW

The QA Engineer will be a core member of eClinical Solutions and will be primarily responsible for Test case scripting and execution. In addition will raise defects in Jira.This position will report to the Lead/Manager of Software Quality Assurance

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and analyse Business and Functional requirements of the project/release.
• Validate that requirements and bug fixes meet acceptance
• Creation of functional and non-functional test cases as per stories, improvements,
• Execution of test cases including functional, regression, and system tests
• Perform exploratory/informal tests of new features and bug
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to locate system failures and clearly document defects found during testing in bug tracking system (i.e Jira)
• Participate in daily Standup/Scrum call with SQA offshore/onshore
• Ensure compliance with eClinical Solutions/industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines, and other procedures other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATE S PROFILE

Education & Experience

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering, preferably from Computer Science and/or equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English

Professional Skills

• 3-5 years experience in QA Testing for Agile projects (regulated industry experience a plus).
• Working experience in JIRA is preferable.
