Deputy Manager Process Quality

In this highly visible position, the primary responsibility will be effective implementation and maintenance of IATF 16949, EQMS and customer specific requirements.
Continual improvement of QMS through internal audits, corrective and preventive actions.

The essential functions of the position include:
A. Manufacturing processes quality control and products quality control, reduce customer complaint, scrap and rework and maintenance of IATF 16949.
a. QMS improvement by annual review of work processes/procedures/SIPOCs.
b. Preparation of internal audit plan for process, product and QMS.
c. Execution of internal audit plan, preparing and keep updating EQMS summary.
d. Drive corrective actions and its horizontal deployment throughout the value stream.
e. Report opportunities for improvement based on analysis of factual data such as SPC, audit results, internal concerns, capability indices, etc.
f. Completes the daily, weekly, monthly report or other reports required from company or department, include PPAP, SPC, improvement action, scrap, operation report.
g. Training of QMS to all functions
B. Other special assignment given by Quality Manager

Non-Technical
Time management, prioritizing quality projects, dealing with human resource concerns, and driving resolution of problems and people concerns. External communication with customers good interpersonal skills required.

Bachelors Degree/Diploma in mechanical engineering, technical or other related discipline.
6 /10 Years experience in maintenance of Quality Management System (ISO/IATF 16949) and quality function Preferably Gear Manufacturing Industry)

Extensive knowledge and experience with AIAG Core Tools (SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP & MSA) preferred.

Preferred Training: Six Sigma, Project management, Interpersonal Communications and Leadership Skills Development.

Recommended Credentials: Problem solving thru 8-D using Fishbone, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) & Why-Why analysis, knowledge of Six Sigma preferred

Understands the key phases and requirements of an effective new product development and launch system - i.e. APQP and has knowledge of the associated tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Characteristic Matrix, Gage Capability, Process Capability, Process Flow, Preventive Maintenance, Machine Runoff, etc.
C. Customer Focus
Understands importance of customer specific requirements and concepts of internal and external customers.
D. Quality Technologies
Understands 7 QC tools and application.
E. Quality Management Systems
Understands the standards, implementation and certification process of Quality Management Systems such as ISO-9001, IATF16949 .
F. Product and Process Knowledge
Has a broad-based knowledge of the product and its manufacturing process.
G. Cost of Quality
Understands the concept of Cost of Quality and specifically of the Cost of Non-Conformance.
