Job Title: Finance Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Bangalore, India (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Reports To: Director of Finance

Key Relationships: Finance Team, Operations Team, Sales Team

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Finance Business Intelligence Manager to drive financial insights and support strategic decision-making within our organization.

This role will play a crucial part in leveraging financial data to enhance profitability, billing accuracy, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with business intelligence tools, data visualization platforms, and advanced analytics frameworks, with a strong emphasis on financial analytics, forecasting, and automation.

Proficiency in Looker, Google Data Studio, Google Colab, and Python is essential, along with a deep understanding of large dataset manipulation and system integrations. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in establishing and maintaining finance operations KPIs and will act as a trusted business partner to commercial, data, product, and operations teams to support informed business decisions

What youll do:

Partner with Data team to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to provide insights to leadership on company performance, including trends, key metrics, and strategic recommendations. Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Looker Studio, and Google Colab)

• Support the Accounting team with the creation of dashboards and datasets for daily operations, integrating the ERP system with the backend applications and database

Daily Finance Operations management

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
• Design, implement and monitor a set of KPis to monitor Finance operations and the finance team performance
• Partners with Commercial & Technical teams to ensure new product/revenue streams are billed in an efficient manner
1. Business Partnering & Decision Support:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders (e.g., Product, Operations, Sales) by translating complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure financial considerations are integral to product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and operational improvements.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team based in Bangalore, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, data, product) to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Who you are:

• Education: MBA in Finance, CFA, CA, or equivalent advanced degree in finance or economics preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in BI, analytics, and reporting within the finance department, ideally in a high-growth, tech-enabled environment (logistics, e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplace business models strongly preferred).
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse, global teams, with a track record of building high-performance functions from the ground up.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with BI and data visualization tools (Looker, Google Data Studio, Google Colab are a plus)
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to simplify complex data sets into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
• Communication & Influence: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.
