Job Description
- Build and maintain complex financial models to assess housing finance products and provide insights for decision-making.
- Analyze loan portfolios, assess risk factors, and evaluate financial performance to drive product development and pricing strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive benchmarks within the housing finance sector.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in the market and assess the impact of macroeconomic factors on housing finance.
Capital Raising Support:
- Assist in analyzing capital structures and developing strategies for raising funds, including debt, equity, and other financing instruments.
- Support senior team members in capital-raising initiatives by preparing financial models, investor presentations, and information memorandums.
- Conduct research on potential investors and financing sources, assessing their alignment with the company s growth objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of capital-raising activities.
Reporting Documentation:
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders, summarizing key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Compile and review due diligence materials, performance metrics, and financial statements to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Prepare regular reports for lenders and investors, including financial performance, loan portfolio updates, risk assessments, and compliance with covenants or agreements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to meet the requirements of lenders, investors, and other financial partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, product, and business development) to support the design and enhancement of innovative housing finance solutions.
- Provide analytical support to ensure data-driven product decisions and strategies.
- Analyze customer data to identify patterns, preferences, and behaviors that can inform product and business strategies.
- Provide actionable insights from data to help shape customer experience improvements and loan product innovation.
- Leverage analytical tools and fintech platforms to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Assist in optimizing automation and tech-driven approaches for financial processes and risk assessments.
- Keep abreast of relevant regulatory changes in the housing finance market and assess their impact on company operations and product offerings.
- Ensure that the company s financial analysis and product offerings comply with all relevant regulations.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present clear insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience or interest in technology-driven financial services or housing finance is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Knowledge or experience in capital raising activities, including debt and equity financing, is a plus.
- Experience in preparing reports for lenders and investors is highly desirable.
