Role & responsibilities

• Identification of plant improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, solution development, techno-economic and feasibility study, etc.
• Identification of engineering requisitions related to production equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance and coordinating with maintenance personnel to complete the jobs safely & effectively.
• Oversight and execution of basic engineering (Including preparation of PFD, P&ID, mass balance, energy balance, equipment list, equipment sizing, utility flow diagram and list, etc.)
• Oversight and execution of detailed engineering (Including preparation of vessel design, plant layout, process specifications sheet, line list, instrument list and specifications, operating manual, process trouble shooting manual, etc.)
• Review and assimilation of existing literature on vessel and agitator design in plants, followed identification of potential improvements, subsequent execution and vessel performance monitoring.
• Finalization of complete equipment specifications, technical specifications, job orders, etc. until project commissioning under direct oversight of General Manager.
• Implementation of projects including quotation generation, equipment procurement, vendor management, timeline planning and execution, contractor management, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: BTech or MTech in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering

Experience: 10-15 years

Preferred Profile: Experience in projects departments in chemical/ metal/ engineering/ heavy industrials plant
