About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases and SQL scripts. You will work closely with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and deliver high-quality database solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.

- Create and maintain database documentation and data dictionaries.

- Develop and enforce database standards and best practices.

- Design and implement data models to support business requirements.

- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.

- Perform query tuning and indexing.

- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

- Integrate data from various sources into the database.

- Ensure data quality and consistency.

- Develop and maintain data migration scripts.

- Monitor database performance and identify potential issues.

- Maintain database security and access controls.

- Perform database maintenance tasks, such as index rebuilding and statistics updates.

- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests for database objects.

- Debug and resolve database issues.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 2+ years of experience in SQL development.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and database design.

- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).

- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
