QA Tester (In-Person)

About the Role

e-Xposures Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a QA Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you are in the office five days a week.

You will play a key part in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software solutions. With a focus on automated and backend testing, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust, high-performing applications.

There will be three rigorous rounds of interviews, including a hands-on live testing demonstration. Do not apply if you lack hands-on experience or are not technically proficient.

Local candidates are preferred. Must be fluent in English and Malayalam. Relocation costs are not covered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide timely and actionable feedback.
2. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
3. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
4. Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly in issue-tracking systems.
5. Execute regression testing to confirm resolved issues and prevent reoccurrences.
6. Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts using the latest testing tools.
7. Conduct backend testing to validate system integrations, APIs, and data flow.
8. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand and resolve system requirements.
9. Stay updated with emerging tools, methodologies, and best practices in QA testing.
10. Monitor and document quality metrics such as defect densities and resolution timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 1-3 years of proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience with software development is an added advantage.
• Must be working currently or have work experience.

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Cucumber, JBehave, Spock Framework, EasyMock, Serenity BDD, JMeter, Gatling, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in backend testing, including API testing and database validation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (BTECH) in Computer Science or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

• In-office position (No remote work available).
• Must provide references upon request.
• Local candidates are preferred.
• Must be extremely fluent in English and Malayalam as this position will work in the Kochi office location.
