Design Engineer - Exterior parts

Job Details :

Work location: Hyderabad

Experience : 4+yrs

Domain: Exteriors for passenger car

Notice period: Immediate to 30 days only

▪ Key Responsibilities

1) Responsible for Design for manufacture and assembly for Exterior Trims system

2) Responsible for upholding the highest standards of geometry creation and GD&T

3) Report to Lead Engineers responsible for the relevant commodities.

4) Prepares full project documents.

5) Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products.

6) Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full exterior systems including some but not all of : Bumpers, Exterior Trims ,Wheel Guards ,Mirrors, Glazing, Washer and Wiper Systems

7) Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.

▪ Education / Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

▪ Experience : 4+ year experience in Automobile Industry

▪ Skills and Knowledge

1) Experience in creating designs using CAD tools such as NX or equivalent for design & validation.

2) Experience in DFMEA, DVP, Tolerance stack up

3) Experience in delivering Production intent design and Drawings.

4) Experience of Various Plastic manufacturing methods & Material Selections.
