Job Description:

SQL database Lead with strong SQL database expertise and good communication skills.
Closely work with client DB manager on daily basis and ensure the smooth DB operations.
Good experience in managing SQL databases in on-prem, Azure Cloud, Azure SQL databases and Azure Managed Instances
Responsible for SQL Build, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of SQL Server (On-prem and Azure cloud).
Hands on Experience with SQL query tuning, SQL HADR technologies(including Log shipping, failover clustering and always-on), disaster recovery strategy, Azure cloud, management of Azure SQL databases and Azure Managed Instances
Closely work with apps team to support physical database administration including performance management, security, installations, upgrades, migration, patches, backup, recovery, space management, performance tuning and capacity planning
Ensuring customer Audit requirements and maintain all project related documents,
Good experience in SQL commission/decommission, backup and recovery process, including disaster recovery and SQL DB security controls.
Monitoring database performance, including stored procedures, query execution plans and resolve the database performance issues.
SQL Encryption technology including TDE and Network traffic encryption
Ready to work in shifts and On Call support
