Job Description
Associate Manager Software Engineering
Highly skilled and experienced Associate Manager of Software Engineering to lead team of software engineers, should have strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage a team of software engineers, overseeing the development of software products and solutions.
- Provide leadership and direction to the software engineering team, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for their professional growth, conducting performance evaluations and career development planning.
- Assist in formulating and implementing the software engineering strategy, participating in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Lead technical discussions and design reviews, ensuring software architecture and design are sound.
- Ensure that all software products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues that could impact project timelines.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the team.
- Monitor and optimize resource allocation, project schedules, and budgets.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically, 10 + years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 8 + years in a similar role in software engineering.
- Previous experience on projects related to INGENIUM, whether it involves implementation, upgrade, or enhancement.
