Job Description
We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites that meet client requirements and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or modify existing ones based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive designs into WordPress themes.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user experience across devices.
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, browser compatibility issues, and other technical glitches.
- Customize and extend WordPress functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed to enhance website functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WordPress websites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in PHP programming and WordPress development best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with responsive web design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
