Support Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in motion control systems, including servo and linear motors, and will be responsible for testing, debugging, and customizing features for specific use cases. Key Responsibilities:

• Testing: Set up controllers with servo and linear motors, tune the system, and perform functionality tests for new functions and features.
• Debugging: Replicate issues faced by customers and liaise with the R&D team to report bugs and troubleshoot.
• Advanced Debugging: Investigate the code base to identify bugs and test fixes.
• Feature Development: Customize features to suit specific customer use cases.
• Electrical Design: Assist in the design of interface cables, create electrical diagrams, and provide electrical design support (no formal electrical knowledge required).

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirement: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• At least 3 years of working experience in motion control systems, high-precision machinery, or manufacturing.
• Experience with applications projects, customer delivery, and working under deadline pressure.
• Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of programming and experience in automation are added advantages.
• Experience with motion control systems, machine building, or high-precision equipment.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
