Drupal Developer (Sr. Software Engineer)

Role & responsibilities :

• Design, Develop, and Maintain Drupal Websites: Create custom modules and themes, manage site configuration, and ensure high-performance across all devices.
• Custom Module and Theme Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to extend the functionality of the Drupal CMS based on project requirements.
• Site Building and Configuration: Work with content types, views, blocks, and layout configurations to structure and design site elements.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and content creators to integrate features and ensure optimal performance.
• API Integration: Develop and manage API integrations for third-party services, including CRM, e-commerce, and other platforms.
• Maintain Security Standards: Follow best practices in security for Drupal core, custom modules, and themes, performing regular security audits and updates.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues on Drupal websites, ensuring the stability and reliability of the platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Drupal: 3+ years of experience in Drupal development, including expertise with Drupal 8/9 (Drupal 10 experience is a plus).
• Strong PHP Skills: Proficiency in PHP, including custom module development.
• Front-end Technologies: Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery; experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap is a plus.
• Database Management: Familiarity with MySQL or MariaDB and proficiency in writing queries.
• Knowledge of Twig and Theming in Drupal: Experience with Twig templating and creating custom themes from scratch.
• Familiarity with Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Working Knowledge of DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and environment setup for local development.
• Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and debugging.
• Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
