The impact you will have in this role:

The Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include: regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Well versed with Software Development Life Cycle and Software Test Life Cycle using Agile methodology.
• Facilitate understanding and implementation of quality processes according to organizational standards.
• Conduct training sessions for teams to ensure comprehension and implementation of established processes.
• Perform periodic audits to assess process adherence in both project implementation and product development/upgrade stages.
• Conduct release verifications to guarantee that all artifacts are created accurately and meet expected standards.
• Review functional specifications/user stories for testable requirements and develop test cases.
• Maintain traceability of functional requirements/Test Cases to automation test scripts.
• Track defects to closure, report test results, continuously supervise execution and raise issues as required.
• Maintain well organized records of test results.
• Identify environmental and data requirements; collaborate with Development and Testing teams to manage and maintain environment and data.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and implement necessary changes for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance measures throughout the software development life cycle.
• Maintain and update process documentation to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in quality processes, providing guidance and support to project teams as required.
• Must have experience Budgeting and proposals.
• Should be able to drive Onsite - Offshore model.
• Should be able to report to stakeholders - Test Status, KPI Metrics and Dashboard Reporting
• Expertise in Stakeholder Managements, Risk Management, Conflict Management
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure proper delivery of the requirement.
• Develop a functional understanding of the product being delivered including architecture considerations and technical design.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in testing and automation to continuously improve the testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• Should know the Defect Management using ALM/JIRA, Defect Triaging, Defect Status Reporting and Tracking
• Ability to apply design patterns like Page Object Model (POM) to create reusable and maintainable automation scripts.
• Proficiency in using Git or similar version control systems to manage code changes, collaborate with other testers, and track test script revisions.
• Solid grasp of a popular programming language used for automation testing, typically Java or Python, including data structures, control flow, and object-oriented principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver APIs, including element locators, interactions with web elements, handling alerts, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of web development concepts including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively interact with web elements and identify potential issues.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in test scripts, analyze error logs, and effectively debug complex automation problems.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques for testing RESTful APIs, which can be integrated into the overall automation strategy.
