The IT Data Center Strategy & Operations team (DCS&O) takes complete ownership of our Data Center Complex. This job focuses on engineering in the Resiliency Infrastructure Lab environment.

The Data Center Strategy & Operations team provides support to network, storage, compute, and application development teams who deploy their environments into the Data Center Complex. We are committed to driving service excellence, identifying cost savings, proactively managing / mitigating IT risks and maximizing value from IT hardware and the Data Center locations.

The Senior Associate will support the Data Center Strategy & Operations (DCS&O) leadership team on all internal and cross department programs with key stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, IT, Third-Party Risk, etc.). You will assist in developing and maintaining all program/project plans, presentations, training materials and reporting.

A prime candidate is energetic, proactive, can multitask and work autonomously to support multiple teams and initiatives.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• A key focus on the role of a storage technology support and storage based replication technologies.
• Be responsible for the installation of network infrastructure, software and hardware infrastructure platforms that are used to provide resiliency. This includes storage replication, virtualization, orchestration, and network tools.
• Assist the RIT Lab Management team in project planning, oversight, and technical review of outside consultants work. Manage activities of key consultants to meet the demands of IT.
• Provide technical support of the RIT Lab infrastructure platforms.
• Coordinate engineering activities
• Lifecycle management of IT assets.
• Perform testing and commissioning for new facilities and critical systems.
• Status reporting and presentations
• Identify and manage critical paths while tracking risk, issues, and escalations.
• Support the execution of spend management and cost analysis.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
• Provide consulting services for Data Center Operations as it pertains to the physical space within the data center.

Additional Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• Familiarity supporting a service catalog to clients across IT teams using ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of ITIL aspects inclusive of Service Now (SNOW) change, incident, and problem management.
• Experience to commensurate with administration and support of modern infrastructure platforms. e.g Network Administration, Virtualization and Resiliency technologies.
• Familiar with data center deployments inclusive of mainframe, distributed, and network equipment
