Purchase Officer

1. Responsible for sourcing and procuring various mechanical & electrical components like

Gears, Motors, casting etc from different vendors.

2. Prepare Cost Break-up & Cost comparison between Prices quoted by different vendors.

3. Actively involved in Purchase Price reduction activities.

4. Arrange new vendors, evaluate them and finalize Rate Contract (RC) with them in co-

ordination with GM-Operations.

5. Ensure timely delivery of various components from each vendors and initiate alternate

arrangements incase of supply risk from a particular vendor.

6. Evaluating Vendors on a regular basis with regards to Quality, Delivery and Cost reduction.

7. Preparing Purchase Orders and issuing to respective vendors on time.

Work Experience in type of Business and area :- Supply Chain, Purchase, Vendor Management

Skill Set Required:- Purchase Management, Procurement Planning. Knowledge about RAW MATERIAL Like M. S. ALLOYS, CASTING, HARDWARE, BROUGHT OUT MATERIALS etc

Reporting to :Asst General Manager Factory

Preference will be given to candidates having procurement knowledge from Gujarat, specifically from Rajkot & Ahmadabad Market. Candidates must be willing to travel and have good knowledge of machine parts and fabrication
