For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will work on exciting and technologically cutting-edge product development projects, in the areas of control prototyping and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation.

We are offering a position as a Senior Software Developer - DevOps for our products. As part of the AGILE team, you will streamline our software development and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery. In doing so, you can expect a variety of exciting, challenging, and diverse tasks that you will solve together as a team.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate with development teams to establish and enhance continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, including source code management, build processes, and deployment automation.
• Setting up and maintenance of Virtual Machines (VMWare Administration) required for development and testing.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring tasks using tools like Ansible etc.
• Design, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components using platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud providers.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to enable efficient deployment and management of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot incidents, and improve system reliability.
• Establish and enforce security best practices and compliance standards for cloud / On-premises infrastructure and applications.

Your Qualifications

• You have a B.Tech university degree in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication.
• You have minimum 5 years of experience as a Build Engineer or in a similar DevOps role.
• Deep working knowledge on Windows/Linux servers and networking.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python etc).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, basic knowledge of VMWare Administration and knowledge of DevOps Automation (Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions)
• You are a certified DevOps engineer like MS DevOps expert, AWS DevOps certified engineer etc.
• You are familiar with Agile software development and use of Azure DevOps and Git.
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
