Salary: ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month (depending on expertise and caliber)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proficient Dairy Technologist to take on the role of Production Manager with expertise in cheese-making processes. This role involves leading production operations, optimizing yield, managing resources, and ensuring the highest quality standards in cheese production. The candidate should have hands-on experience with universal cookers and demonstrate strong leadership and operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations Management:

• Oversee end-to-end cheese production processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Operate and optimize the performance of universal cookers to produce high-quality cheese products, including processed and analogue cheeses.
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Yield Optimization and Cost Control:

• Continuously monitor production yields and implement strategies to maximize output while minimizing raw material usage.
• Analyze and reduce waste across all stages of production.
• Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.

Quality and Compliance:

• Maintain stringent quality control throughout the production process to ensure products meet defined standards and specifications.
• Implement and uphold food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and resolve quality-related issues promptly.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise, mentor, and train production staff to build a skilled and motivated team.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability among the production team.

Process Optimization and Reporting:

• Identify areas for improvement in production workflows, processes, and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to develop and refine cheese formulations and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including yields, efficiency, and quality, and report to senior management with actionable insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cheese production, with proven expertise in operating universal cookers.
• Strong knowledge of cheese-making processes, dairy chemistry, and production technology.
• Proven ability to optimize yields, control costs, and manage resources effectively.
• Leadership skills with experience in managing and training production teams.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, quality standards, and production reporting.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
