Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Stereo Digitization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing stereo imagery to extract accurate 3D data for various applications, including urban planning, and geospatial analysis. The role involves working with photogrammetric software, identifying terrain features, and creating high-quality digital elevation models (DEM) and topographic maps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform stereo digitization of aerial imagery using photogrammetric software.
• Extract terrain features, elevation data, and topographic details accurately.
• Generate Digital Terrain Models (DTM), Digital Elevation Models (DEM), and 3D maps.
• Ensure quality control and accuracy in digitized data through verification processes.
• Work with GIS and remote sensing teams to integrate digitized data into mapping projects.
• Interpret and analyze stereo imagery to extract buildings, roads, vegetation, and hydrology features.
• Maintain documentation and metadata for digitized datasets.
• Assist in project planning and workflow optimization for efficient digitization processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Geospatial Sciences, Remote Sensing, GIS, or a related field.
• Experience in stereo compilation and photogrammetric data digitization.
• Proficiency in 3D digitization software.
• Strong understanding of stereo image interpretation, and feature extraction.
• Knowledge of GIS concepts, coordinate systems, and geospatial data handling.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in data processing.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and meet project deadlines.
• Data Management is a must.
