Job Description

Technology @Dream11:

Technology is at the core of everything we do. Our technology team helps us deliver a mobile-first experience across platforms (Android & iOS) while managing over 450 million rpm (requests per minute) at peak with a user concurrency of over 15 million.

We have over 190+ micro-services written in Java and backed by a Vert. x framework. These work with isolated product features with discrete architectures to cater to the respective use cases.

We work with terabytes of data, the infrastructure for which is built on top of Kafka, Redshift, Spark, Druid, etc. and it powers a number of use cases like Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics. Our tech stack is hosted on AWS, with distributed systems like Cassandra, Aerospike, Akka, Voltdb, Ignite, etc.

Your Role:

Approach every problem by breaking it down to the core and devising solutions from first principles.
Use data to drive day-to-day development, debugging, and troubleshooting efforts.
Take full ownership of the projects and systems you or your team lead, ensuring accountability for both the short-term and long-term goals.
Lead meetings with clear agendas, ensuring they drive outcomes, foster collaboration, and resolve roadblocks.
Maintain hands-on expertise with key technology stacks (e. g. , JS, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift), ensuring you stay grounded in the technical challenges.
In-depth understanding, preferably react or react-native or Android or iOS
Regularly review architecture and code, providing constructive feedback that enhances technical quality and efficiency.
Demonstrate a strong command of both low-level and high-level system design principles.
Anticipate and resolve performance bottlenecks by identifying root causes and implementing scalable solutions.
Instrument production systems for monitoring and creating efficient troubleshooting processes to handle outages or incidents.

Qualifiers:

8+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on frontend technologies (TypeScript, React, React-Native, Android or iOS etc. ).
Proven experience with system design and architecture.
