Orthopedic Surgeon (Trauma Care Experience)

Job Location: Coimbatore-Singanallur, Saravanampatti, Sathyamanagalam

Experience 1 to 5 years

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Clinical Expertise

- Perform orthopedic surgeries, including trauma cases, with precision and care

- Demonstrate interest in various orthopedic procedures, such as:

- Joint replacements

- Osteotomies

- Fracture reductions

- Arthroscopic procedures (e.g., ACL reconstructions, meniscectomies)

2. Trauma Care

- Provide immediate care and stabilization for patients with acute injuries, including:

- Fractures

- Dislocations

- Soft tissue injuries

- Collaborate with emergency department staff for seamless patient transfer and continuity of care

3. Arthroscopy

- Perform arthroscopic procedures for various joint conditions, including:

- Knee

- Shoulder

- Elbow

- Ankle

- Utilize arthroscopy to diagnose and treat conditions such as:

- Ligament tears

- Cartilage damage

- Joint inflammation

4. Patient Management

- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including:

- Medical history

- Physical examination

- Diagnostic testing

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including:

- Pre-operative care

- Intra-operative care

- Post-operative care

5. Team Collaboration

-Train the team of doctors

- Work closely with other departments, such as:

- Anesthesia

- Radiology

- Physical therapy

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment strategies

6. Professional Development

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, and arthroscopy through continuous education and training

- Participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge

Education and Qualifications:

- MBBS with MS (Orthopedics) or equivalent postgraduate degree

- 1-5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, with a focus on trauma care and arthroscopy
