Role & responsibilities

Camp Planning & Coordination:

• Plan and organize eye care camps in collaboration with hospital management and local health authorities.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and nurses, to ensure adequate staffing and medical supplies for each camp.
• Organize logistical aspects such as camp locations, transportation, equipment, and medical tools.
• Ensure all camp requirements, including permissions, permits, and community awareness programs, are completed promptly.

Team Management:

• Supervise camp staff, including volunteers, support staff, and medical personnel.
• Train and guide camp volunteers on their responsibilities and protocols.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members and participants.

Data Collection and Reporting:

• Collect data on the number of patients screened, treated, and referred.
• Maintain accurate records of camp activities, patient demographics, and outcomes.
• Prepare and submit post-camp reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Post-Camp Follow-Up:

• Ensure patients who require follow-up treatment are referred appropriately.
• Coordinate follow-up care, surgeries, or further consultations after the camp.
• Monitor patient recovery progress and collect feedback on the camp's services.
