Designation and Profile: Tableau Developer

Job description

- Ability to user reporting tools, preferably Tableau (minimum 2 to 3 years prior experience).

- Proficiency in relation databases + SQL, e.g. Snowflake. Amazon Web Services experience highly desirable.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; managing multiple streams of work.

- Possess exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; outstanding organizational and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail.

- Awareness & understanding of Cloud Architecture, AWS, HR IT systems, e.g., architecture & data flows would be desirable. Team player with a positive attitude. Proven ability to handle confidential information.

- As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.

- You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.

- You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design

- You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organizations financial guidelines

- Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers. - Partner teams across the department in developing best-in-class analytics and visualization

- Manage Tableau Servers (Sites / Workbooks / Views / Users / Data Sources)

- Ensuring highest level of quality in all deliverables

- Reviewing deliverables for accuracy and communicating effectively to all the stakeholders

- Developing Tableau Workbooks

- Troubleshooting Tableau Workbook issues reported

- Creation and testing of new and existing workbook artifacts

- Maintaining up to date documentation for each process

Technical and Professional Requirements:

- Design, develop, modify, publish, test and troubleshoot dashboards

- Maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, performance, and re-use

- Adding or creating dimensions, measures, and calculations

- Prepare data for use in Tableau desktop/designer

- Know about and provide connections to existing, new and diverse data sources

- Performing data modeling in Tableau Desktop

- Develop extracts, publish data sources and workbooks

- Resolve any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources

- Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations

- Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides

- Resolve support tickets related to Tableau reports

- Develop custom scripts when needed
