Job Description

• Ensure that the Workshop is set-up as per norms and fully functional to carry out the formwork making activities for site execution.
• Ensure that the formwork yard is identified and set-up as per the space available at site to properly stack all formwork materials received into the site.
• Prepare a mock-up facility displaying the available formwork systems for training purpose.
• Assist the site team in understanding the formwork scheme drawings if any difficulties arise for necessary implementation.
• Conduct periodical checks when formwork is in progress and ensure that all design criteria and scheme drawings criteria are met.
• Inspect the formwork for necessary safety & quality checks before & after concreting.
• Record any incidents related to formwork and ensure it is avoided in future by taking appropriate action and circulate the same across for awareness.
• Ensure that the training is conducted for all workmen at regular intervals at site and mock-up areas to improve the productivity levels.
• Candidates shall have extensive knowledge in construction stages, technical coordination, project costing & budgeting and progress reporting skills and Planning of manpower & materials.
• Candidates shall have extensive knowledge in logistics strategies, procurement budget and cost control.
• Candidates shall be aware of compliance to the project quality plans and contracts specification and ensure the compliance to HSE management procedure.
• Candidates shall have capability of review initial training and periodic supervision for the project staff associated with the formworks system for a systematic work in progress.
• This role shall be responsible for 100% study of formwork and scaffolding requests and provide right solution for the requirement and also should ensure 100% coordination of system formwork suppliers in providing proper planning of current materials to be used in new projects.
• To check the proper requirement of formwork material.
• To check the proper stocking of material after use.
