Casting, Forging & Machining components - Supplier Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Developing components in the process of Casting ,Forging & Machining as per the requirements of drawing specification and functions.

2. Problem solving of CFM parts and coordinating with suppliers.

3. Construction equipment Trouble shooting of CFM components.

4. Technical evaluation of components based on specification and NPD development.

5. Component sample evaluation and testing.

6. Technical clarification for overall CFM components of the product.

7. Responsible to attend CFM supplier related issues in Fabrication, Assembly shop and communicate to the supplier to work on RCA & CAPA.

Responsible to conduct Process audit at supplier end and initiate actions on the gaps.

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge in Casting, Forging & Machining components
• Drawing reading & Inspection skills,
• RCA & CAPA
• NPD Activities at supplier end [PPAP]
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with Customers, Suppliers and interdepartmental personnel.
• Study field failures, suggest resolving the issues with technical know-how.
• Communicate with vendors regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with strong analytical & problem solving skills.
• Strong Knowledge in MS office
