Roles & Responsibilities

• Receiving the purchase requisitions from all locations regarding spares.
• Floating enquiries to the vendors and obtain the quotations
• Receiving the comparative statements from all locations and same will be evaluated and submit for managers approval
• Coordination with all Material Management Incharges for timely closing of Purchase requisitions and material receipt
• Compare the Quotations and prepare the comparative statement and prepare ARC & AMC
• Negotiate with vendors and select the optimum vendor and prepare the proposal and submit for approval
• Purchase orders will be prepared on receipt of manager approval
• Ensure the delivery on time as per user requirement by follow up with vendor
• Raise the down payment request to the accounts department for advance payments
• Coordination with accounts department for vendor payments
• Prepare the monthly review reports and submit to the manager
• Maintain the data of purchase process
• Monitoring the stock levels on regular basis and divert the material to other locations.
