New Business Development - Manager/SM

Founded in 2014 and based in India, Appnit Technologies Private Limited is a mobile internet company providing services for mobile phone users and carrier-grade solutions for telecom operators. In March 2022, DMI Finance acquired a controlling stake in Appnit Technologies Private Limited.
Job Purpose:
Cultivate and enhance existing customer relationships within the Emerging Business vertical, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to deepen engagement.
- Accountability1 : Key account management and new customer acquisition in the existing/emerging market categories and conversion of leads.
- Accountability2 : Preparing short-term and long-term sales plans, sales approaches, and strategies.
- Accountability3 : Consistently achieve revenue targets in line with team/organizational objectives.
- Accountability4 : Customer relationship management.
- Accountability5 : Build and manage existing business pipeline and generate Cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Accountability6 : Identify target accounts with strategic timing and strong use cases.
- Establish best practices and operating procedures for converting leads to sales.
- Accountability7 : Keep updated on market trends and issues affecting the payments industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification required: Graduation.
- Qualifications preferred: Post Graduation
Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- Experience in FinTech / KYC / Technology organizations.
- Experience in a startup ecosystem or a product/Technology driven organization
- Has fair understanding of payments and KYC space, preferably from KYC platforms.
- Hunting and Key account management role in previous organization.
- Experience in product-focused sales and an organized approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers by understanding their requirements.
- Strong business acumen and product expertise.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the payments landscape, with direct experience in product-focused sales being a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Basic SQL knowledge.
- Excellent command over English in both verbal and comprehension skills.
